vintage Japanese hand painted enamel jewelry box

Beautiful Japanese jewelry box from the 1950's or 60's. Not working as far as playing music, lighting up and movement. It originally wound and would play music and the rickshaw wheel would turn. The shadow box also would light up. The shadowbox has glass in front and top. Inside the shadow box is a man pulling a rickshaw with a passenger holding a parasol with a tree and bush. There is a hidden compartment on the top compartment that holds 2 D size batteries. I tested and it is not working. It still works as a decorative jewelry box. The box is made of wood and the front, top and sides are hand painted in ruby red on black with a Japanese scenic design. The front has 2 pull out drawers. The top has 3 compartments. One on each side and the center compartment with the small compartment with the doors with tassel pulls. Mirror on the back is cloudy from age. Exterior has several small dings to the finish. Come with key. 13" L X 8" h X 5 3/8" D. Pink corduroy linings are clean.
